Hosting Program USA: bringing orphan children from Ukraine to America for a 3-4 week cultural experience immersing them in family life, English language, educational activities, and spiritual enrichment. See more, Click Here.
Orphanage Seed Program: building relationships with orphan children through weekly visitations to their orphanage, bringing games and crafts, Bible study, English lessons, humanitarian aid, and friendship.
Community Development: a place where orphan and impoverished children and adults in the village community can come for educational programs, encouragement, entertainment and other positive, life building activities. See more, Click Here.
Life Skills Center: a family-style home for aged-out orphan teens, providing educational activities, positive role models, equipping the teen with the skills they will need to be productive adult members of their communities. See more, Click Here.
Summer Camps: In Ukraine, children living in orphanages are sent to summer long camps, where they spend 4-6 weeks (or more) in the camp environment. Through a wonderful relationship, Manifold Mercies has been given access to one of these camps. We
will arrange for short-term missions teams from America to bring a special program to the children at camp, ministering to them through music, drama, crafts, games, sports, devotions, discipleship, friendship, and love. This program gives our supporters an opportunity to experience, first hand, the ways in which Manifold Mercies is making a positive difference in the lives of the orphans of Ukraine.
Short-Term Missions Trips: Throughout the year, Manifold Mercies will make preparation for short-term teams to visit our various ministry projects, participating in activities such as our Orphanage Seed Project ministry or Community Enrichment Center classes. We will also have opportunity for construction teams for various building projects, humanitarian aid distribution, and community (village) evangelism. See more, Click Here.
Connections: (a letter writing/video initiative): Manifold Mercies will implement a letter writing/video project that will be a source of entertainment for orphans as well as American school children. We will match children (or classrooms) in the US to children living in an orphanage for an opportunity to communicate in a fun and educational way. The letters written by children from both sides will be filtered through our translators and monitors. Their letter will be re-written in translation and then both copies will be forwarded to the addressee. Classroom videos can also be filmed and sent to the participating school, covering topics such as culture, language, etc. For the orphan children, these letters will be a connection to someone that truly cares about them. For the American kids, this project will serve as a source of responsibility and compassion. For both participants the project will be entertaining and educational. See more, Click Here.
Adult Bible Training: For former orphan children, who grow up through Manifold Mercies programs and decide to pursue further ministry training, we will have adult Bible training available. Manifold Mercies has partnered with a local Bible Training Center with four campus locations throughout Ukraine. We plan to have a scholarship program for a limited number of students, to assist with the tuition for this training. With this training, these students can go into the forgotten places of Ukraine and teach others about the saving grace of Christ. Or they can come back to our program as a teacher/leader, helping the orphan children and thus perpetuating the cycle of success for the orphans. Our hope is to see our students take what they learn through Manifold Mercies programs and reach Ukraine for Christ!
