COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT CENTER
Manifold Mercies has successfully identified an area of need in the villages of Ukraine. In these villages, there is a serious lack of entertainment and positive activities for the children and youth. The older orphans are allowed to roam around the village at will and entertain themselves. This lack of available amusement leads to undesirable and unhealthy activity in the youth community.
Manifold Mercies will purchase/rent/or construct a building for the purpose of a Community Enrichment Center for children and adults. We will work with village leaders, educators, and orphanage directors to develop a community youth program for the identified villages. The Community Center will be a safe environment where kids can come, hang out together, listen to positive music, play games, attend classes, receive food or other necessary aid, and find responsible, caring adults whole are willing to pour love and acceptance into their lives.
At this community center, we will hold weekly Bible studies geared toward the youth, teaching them practical application of the Word of God. We will also have after school study sessions for English and life skills. We will construct a playground area for recreation.
Manifold Mercies will work with the community leaders to identify suitable projects. We will bring in short term teams from the US to
complete construction projects, deliver needed supplies, and perform classes and Christian programs. A full time missionary will be assigned to live in each village where we set up these community projects. Relationship will be the key to the success of these projects. We will replicate this model in villages across Ukraine.
