The ISBELL Family
It has often been said, "The family that prays together, stays together". Allen and Michele Isbell's passion for vulnerable people has been passed on to their children and together they form a team, a force, battling the world's crises hand in hand. Their passion and efforts became official in 2010 when they formed Manifold Mercies, Inc., a non-profit 501c3 organization with a mission for positively affecting the lives of orphans and families. Their knowledge and skills were further advanced when they completed their own Ukrainian adoptions in 2011 and again in 2014.
Allen felt God calling him to ministry at an early age. After serving as a volunteer in his local church for many years, traveling to Mexico as a missionary and owning a successful business, he decided in 2005 to pursue full time ministry. Allen graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 2008 and began his ministry journey. In 2010, he established Manifold Mercies in an effort to combat the worldwide orphan crisis. His passion is teaching people about the saving grace of Jesus Christ! Allen is also senior pastor of Compass Church in Auburn Alabama. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, biking, and other outdoor activities.
Michele has worked with children most of her adult life. Day care to at-risk teens; elementary to youth groups; kids just seem to flock to her. She also homeschooled her own children for 18 years. As a teenager Michele dreamed of one day being a missionary. She has always loved to help others, especially kids, and see people come to know Jesus. She serves alongside Allen in their ministry efforts, bringing organizational and administrative skills. Michele longs to see orphans adopted into loving families. Her desire is to help families build healthy relationships and give parents the necessary skills to train their kids for life. Michele serves alongside Allen as senior pastor of Compass Church is Auburn Alabama. She also enjoys hobby farming and antique shopping.
